History of the Association

EXSURGE DOMINE

The Association Exsurge Domine was born out of the realization of a serious ecclesial crisis, which has recently come to a veritable persecution of priests and religious who do not bow to apostasy and betrayal of Christ's Church. Priests thrown out of their parishes, monasteries and convents subjected to intimidating inspections, superiors removed without cause, men and women religious threatened with exclaustration, seminarians unable to finish their formation: the cases are multiplying, and with them are increasing the situations of real need of so many good souls, who find themselves without a home, without a salary, without the means to survive with dignity. Their fault: resisting the rampant apostasy, being bound to Tradition. For them, the "mercy" that today is not even denied to heretical clerics and corrupt and immoral prelates does not apply. Exsurge Domine extends a hand to these priests and religious, because it will be thanks to them if the ecclesial body can one day purify itself and return to faithfulness to the Lord.

The Monastic Village

The first project

Exsurge Domine is creating a Monastic Village to be used for clerics, religious men and women made the target of the Bergoglian purges. We have been offered land and a building in need of major renovation and adaptation. The expenses for these works, which began last May 8, 2023 on the feast of the Apparition of the Archangel Michael and Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompeii, can be quantified in the order of 1.5 million euros. This may seem like a large sum, but if everyone does their part, it will not be impossible to meet it.
